I'm a science writer with a passion for mapping and digital production. I'm mostly here to find good stories for the media, but I'm also here to learn. The goal for my position is to provide reporters with strong extra elements outside of a flat narrative--like an embeddable CartoDB map, or a crystalizing gif. I want to really be able to talk shop with researchers to get from a complicated computation, to something designers and myself can work with. Hopefully this conference helps!
