This tutorial covers the Python programming language including all the information needed to participate in the XSEDE16 Modeling Day event on Tuesday. Topics covered will be variables, types, operators, input/output, control structures, lists, functions, math libraries, and plotting libraries. To participate fully in the hands-on exercises, attendees should come with the Anaconda Python 2.7 package downloaded and installed on their computer.
